What is the SOUTHWEST PPG CHALLENGE?
This is a new style paramotor competition based on popular game of Geocaching.
So what is Geocaching?
"Geocaching is an outdoor recreational activity, in which participants use a Global Positioning System receiver or mobile device and other navigational techniques to hide and seek containers"
Whats in each container?
5x Southwest PPG Challenge stickers
1x Small prize for the first person who reaches the container.
1x Paper so that you can write down your name or a message if you wish.
So how will we know the locations of each container?
We will use the app 'What 3 Words' to give you the exact location of each container.
However, there will be 5 Special locations which are either extremely difficult to land at or very difficult to find the container.
How to win?
Its simple, who ever collects the most stickers wins the competition and prize.
The game will end on the 1st of december and the winner will be announced at the Christmas Dinner 2024.
SOUTHWEST PPG CHALLENGE
- Only 1 sticker per person from each container
- Paramotor must be your main form of transport. This means you must fly to each location and land in an area you see fit as pilot in command. (Each location was placed down by Paramotor so it is possible to launch and land from a close area. However different wind directions and strength might make different locations not possible so you need to assess this yourself.)
- If you're the person to collect the last sticker from the container please take the container with you and inform Oscar Haynes.
- The 5 special locations will only contain 1 sticker at each Location.
